RELai's Charter

we are here to solve one of humanity's most significant challenges: the global mental healthcare crisis. we have no complete clue on how we will accomplish this but what we truly know is that we are hell bent on accomplishing it. technology as a medium will spearhead this invention in a very novel fashion, nevertheless, our fellow humans will be at the center of our inventions. our driving force boils down to one simple belief that healthcare is a fundamental human right.

the current healthcare system is ugly and inefficient by every metric. We have witnessed it, and we can't stand it which is why we rolled up our sleeves and jumped into our biggest sandboxes to build something beautiful and resourceful for reducing global human suffering and benefiting humanity. it's no secret that we all have witnessed the tradeoffs with healthcare 'inventions'. we can't stand it either. as much as we believe healthcare to be a fundamental human right, we also believe privacy to be one. we have always championed this belief and always will, therefore;

we won't and will never ever ever compromise on these principles of ours. RELai pledges to be a public benefit organisation (PBO) and will remain till entropy reaches its maximum value.

we also take an oath to not ship slipshods because our competitors already do that. we will build something beautiful and resourceful for our fellow humans. something that will become an inherent part of their lives. something they can proudly recommend to their family and friends.

it's a long arduous road and we are aware of it, so we won't be let down by (some) or (many) forks we may confront along the way. we will invent this in unison, not division with our fellow species. There will be no 'behind the scenes' or otherwise and we won't conform to the rules set forth by the experts. we will break every unnecessary rule with ethics intact, we will redefine and reinvent many wheels in the process, and we will continue to envision the future through our lens where we witness healthcare as a fundamental human right to every human species.

we may seem very unreasonable and unconventional in our approach to the so-called experts in the field, which is fine. experts are best at knowing where things fail and are therefore led by the notion of survival and avoidance. We aren't here to make it survive, we are here to invent, for us and for the whole of mankind which means we will risk failure and fail in glory and will learn from each of those and continue reinventing. We will skate where the puck is going to be, not where it was set. this means we will fall short at times and it's okay.

for the longest time, sane minds have had every opportunity to fix this and have seemed to care very little which is evident through the outcomes, now it's our time, we will build this with love and care, at every step of the way, for us and for all of our beloved species.

we won't be profitable from day zero and we couldn't care less about this. our trusted visionaries will ultimately have great returns, as they should, for supporting us and believing in our mission from day zero. technology won't scale itself, so having a sustainable business model is quintessential, so we don't dismiss it. we won't collaborate with investors and will only work with visionaries who align with our vision and mission, we've realised very early that investors tend to live in a past version of history but not in a disruptive future, and we are here to create one. so, our marriage with investors is off the charts. we are grateful for the visionaries we found so far, and we are very optimistic about crossing paths with many, down the road. we are also immensely practical about the seasons we will witness, the tremendous successes and the painful lows.

greatest of artists, athletes, inventors and humans have risked failure to achieve greatness and we won't escape this fate either, however, in the spirit of invention and the courage we believe to fare well with all the flying colours and as god is our bloody witness, we are hell bent on reducing global human suffering and elevate the mental wellbeing of all humanity.
