RELai is an AI-first organisation replicating humans and solving human intelligence to advance global mental healthcare and benefit humanity.
RELai redefines mental healthcare by leveraging the power of Large Language Models. It stands at the intersection of Generative AI and Psychiatry and through our novel approach we aim to make global mental healthcare economical, efficient and accessible.
Expedition 1/3: Connecting the dots.
One billion people worldwide continue to live with mental health disorders, with less than one
psychiatrist available for every 100,000 people. Moreover, as this humanitarian crisis rises
exponentially, the available resources plunge at scale. To tackle this global problem, RELai replicates
human intelligence through AI using the concepts of Reinforcement Learning (RL) and Natural Language
Processing (NLP). The outcome of this approach is an AI therapist that can outperform humans in terms of
reliability and efficiency.
Expedition 2/3: Fixing the fundamentals.
Biomarkers detect the presence of an illness. (e.g., High glucose levels indicate diabetes, similar to a
tumour exhibiting cancer). Unfortunately, mental health conditions are not detectable through a single
biomarker. However, recent research points towards isolation and loneliness as root causes affecting
mental health. To solve this at a foundational level, RELai introduces ‘String’, a person-person
engagement platform allowing individuals to host or join events worldwide, redefining global social
engagement.
Expedition 3/3: Accentuating the positive.
Like social engagement, optimism has proven to be a crucial mental trait contributing to mental
well-being. A gratitude wall is a novel approach that embraces optimism by helping users express gratitude
in their everyday life by harnessing the power of social media in a novel fashion.
